Joshua Hout

Project Manager

With 20 years of extensive and varied experience, Joshua brings a unique perspective to the management team at STR as a Commercial Construction Project Manager. Starting off with 8 years in the Marine Corps as a heavy equipment operator he quickly rose through the enlisted ranks and moved into personnel and project management.

After completing his service obligations, Joshua moved into Civil Construction management where he built well-pad sites in North Dakota, storm surge protection levees in Louisiana, flood detention basins in Houston, and land development in Colorado. Looking for a change Joshua moved into a commercial concrete role where he led a team of project managers.

Joshua then switched to general contracting working on numerous government and higher education projects with technical schools, DOT, city, and National Guard clients. Along the way Joshua obtained a bachelor’s in project management as well as an Executive MBA degree from University of Colorado.

Combining two decades of experience, advanced education, and passion for continued growth, Joshua is able to leverage this to complete projects that are successful to both clients and our trade partners.
